Deleting An Element in Array Using C

#include <stdio.h>

int main()
{
   int array[100], position, c, n;

   printf("Enter number of elements in array\n");
   scanf("%d", &n);

   printf("Enter %d elements\n", n);

   for ( c = 0 ; c < n ; c++ )
      scanf("%d", &array[c]);

   printf("Enter the location where you wish to delete element\n");
   scanf("%d", &position);

   if ( position >= n+1 )
      printf("Deletion not possible.\n");
   else
   {
      for ( c = position - 1 ; c < n - 1 ; c++ )
         array[c] = array[c+1];

      printf("Resultant array is\n");

      for( c = 0 ; c < n - 1 ; c++ )
         printf("%d\n", array[c]);
   }

   return 0;
}

Reverse an Array in C

C program to reverse an array: This program reverses the array elements. For example if a is an array of integers with three elements such that
a[0] = 1
a[1] = 2
a[2] = 3
Then on reversing the array will be
a[0] = 3
a[1] = 2
a[0] = 1

#include <stdio.h>

int main()
{
   int n, c, d, a[100], b[100];

   printf("Enter the number of elements in array\n");
   scanf("%d", &n);

   printf("Enter the array elements\n");

   for (c = 0; c < n ; c++)
      scanf("%d", &a[c]);

   for (c = n - 1, d = 0; c >= 0; c--, d++)
      b[d] = a[c];

   for (c = 0; c < n; c++)
      a[c] = b[c];

   printf("Reverse array is\n");

   for (c = 0; c < n; c++)
      printf("%d\n", a[c]);

   return 0;
}

Binary Search in C

Assuming that the numbers are in ascending order :

#include <stdio.h>

int main()
{
   int c, first, last, middle, n, search, array[100];

   printf("Enter number of elements\n");
   scanf("%d",&n);

   printf("Enter %d integers\n", n);

   for (c = 0; c < n; c++)
      scanf("%d",&array[c]);

   printf("Enter value to find\n");
   scanf("%d", &search);

   first = 0;
   last = n - 1;
   middle = (first+last)/2;

   while (first <= last) {
      if (array[middle] < search)
         first = middle + 1;
      else if (array[middle] == search) {
         printf("%d found at location %d.\n", search, middle+1);
         break;
      }
      else
         last = middle - 1;

      middle = (first + last)/2;
   }
   if (first > last)
      printf("Not found! %d is not present in the list.\n", search);

   return 0;
}

Linear Search in C programming

#include <stdio.h>

int main()
{
   int array[100], search, c, n;

   printf("Enter the number of elements in array\n");
   scanf("%d",&n);

   printf("Enter %d integer(s)\n", n);

   for (c = 0; c < n; c++)
      scanf("%d", &array[c]);

   printf("Enter the number to search\n");
   scanf("%d", &search);

   for (c = 0; c < n; c++)
   {
      if (array[c] == search) /* if required element found */
      {
         printf("%d is present at location %d.\n", search, c+1);
         break;
      }
   }
   if (c == n)
      printf("%d is not present in array.\n", search);

   return 0;
}

Minimum Element in an Array

#include <stdio.h>

int main()
{
    int array[100], minimum, size, c, location = 1;

    printf("Enter the number of elements in array\n");
    scanf("%d",&size);

    printf("Enter %d integers\n", size);

    for ( c = 0 ; c < size ; c++ )
        scanf("%d", &array[c]);

    minimum = array[0];

    for ( c = 1 ; c < size ; c++ )
    {
        if ( array[c] < minimum )
        {
           minimum = array[c];
           location = c+1;
        }
    }

    printf("Minimum element is present at location %d and it's value is %d.\n", location, minimum);
    return 0;
}

To Find Maximum Element in An Array

#include <stdio.h>

int main()
{
  int array[100], maximum, size, c, location = 1;

  printf("Enter the number of elements in array\n");
  scanf("%d", &size);

  printf("Enter %d integers\n", size);

  for (c = 0; c < size; c++)
    scanf("%d", &array[c]);

  maximum = array[0];

  for (c = 1; c < size; c++)
  {
    if (array[c] > maximum)
    {
       maximum  = array[c];
       location = c+1;
    }
  }

  printf("Maximum element is present at location %d and it's value is %d.\n", location, maximum);
  return 0;
}

Add Integers using Pointers in C

#include <stdio.h>

int main()
{
   int first, second, *p, *q, sum;

   printf("Enter two integers to add\n");
   scanf("%d%d", &first, &second);

   p = &first;
   q = &second;

   sum = *p + *q;

   printf("Sum of entered numbers = %d\n",sum);

   return 0;
}
